There does not appear to be a travel guide in publication that has tapped into the independent traveler’s desire to watch sporting events they have only seen on TV. It has generally been left to organized tours to take people to the world’s great sporting events – these can be prohibitively expensive, and limit the travel choices and experiences for members. This Guide will provide you with an alternative - do the planning yourself. It can complement your more general travel books by providing you with a level of information regarding sporting events, teams, facilities, and directions that have not been provided in one consolidated guide before.
